Astoria Smith

Ms. Astoria Smith passed away suddenly  on Friday July 29, 2016 in Raeford, North Carolina. She was 60 years old. Astoria had  just recently returned from Philadelphia, PA. from burying her mother, Ms. Daisy Carney who had just passed away 18 days prior on July 11, 2016. She had retired from working at St. Joseph's hospital in Philadelphia and moved to North Carolina to assist her sister in taking care of their mother. She is survived by her only child, Mr. Harold Price and her siblings. The funeral will be held at the family church, Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Germantown on Thursday, August 11, 2016. The viewing will begin at 10:00 am with service to follow at 11:00 am. She will be buried with her mother at Fairview Cemetery 1515 Twining Road, Willow Grove, PA.
