Deacon Wallace Harris, Sr.

Deacon Wallace Harris, Sr. went home to be with the Lord on Saturday November 25, 2017. He was 96 years old. He was born in King William County, Virginia on June 6, 1921. He was honorably discharged from the US Army Air Forces on December 15, 1945. He retired as a Welder from the Budd Company. Deacon Harris was a faithful deacon at Mount Zion Baptist Church for many years.  A funeral will be held on Friday December 8, 2017 at  Mount Zion Baptist Church, 50th & Woodland Avenue 19143. The viewing will begin at 8:00 am with the service to follow at 10 am. Burial with full military honors will be held at 1:30 pm, Washington Crossing VA National Cemetery in Newtown, PA. Please keep his wife and children in your prayers.
