Mr. John Robert Shields, Sr. transitioned on Wednesday April 12, 2023 at his residence in Philadelphia, PA at the age of 79. He will be forever loved and missed by his beloved family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at The Historic African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas, 6361 Lancaster Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19151. The viewing will begin at 10:00 am with the service to follow at 11:00 am. The interment will be private. Please remember the family in your prayers.
