Leander Monk, Jr.

Mr. Leander Monk, Jr. transitioned on Saturday June 17, 2023 in Philadelphia, PA at the age of 95. He will be missed by his children, other relatives and friends. A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at New Bethel A.M.E.Church of Germantown, 6153 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19144. The viewing will begin at 9:00 am with the service to follow at 10:00 am. The interment will be private. A repast will immediately follow the service at Our House Culture Center, 6380 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19144.
