Melvin K. Turner ,Sr.

Mr. Melvin K. Turner, Sr., passed away on Sunday September 11, 2016 in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, PA. He was 61 years old. He was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and was a  devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Melvin was a conductor for SEPTA at the time of his passing and a member of Mt. Airy COGIC.  A viewing will be held at Ervina White Beauford Funeral Service, P.C. 2134 Stenton Ave., Phila., PA. 19138 on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 4:00pm- 6:00 pm. A second viewing will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Mt. Airy COGIC 6401 Ogontz Avenue, Phila., PA. 19126  from 8:00am-10:00am, which will include the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. services. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 am with burial at Ivy Hill Cemetery, Inc. 1201 Easton Road, Phila., PA. 19150. He will be missed by his wife and children other relatives and friends.
