Ruth M. Clyburn

Mother Ruth Malvina Clyburn went home to be with the Lord on Sunday November 5, 2017 at Stapley Nursing Home in Philadelphia, PA. Mother Clyburn was 91 years old. Mother Ruth Malvina Clyburn is the mother of Evangelist Julia Hunt (wife of the Late Bishop James W. Hunt, Sr.). Ruth was born in Sumter Co., South, Carolina on May 17, 1926. During her life time she worked in the nursing field. She was a member of Holy Temple Church of God in Christ of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Jurisdiction, serving faithfully for a number of years. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Holy Temple COGIC, 334 North 60th Street, Phila., PA 19139. The viewing will begin at 11:00 am with the service to follow at 12:00 Noon. A funeral service  will also be held 11:00  on Wednesday December 6, 2017 at Westend Community Church of Christ, 101 S. Salem Avenue, Sumter, SC 29150.  Burial will be in the Smith Family Cemetery, Sumter, South Carolina.
