William E. Charles

Mr. William E. Charles passed away on Tuesday October 23, 2018 at his residence in Pottstown PA. He was 74 years old. Williams E. Charles was born on June 16, 1944 in Pottstown, PA to the late Reverend James E. Charles and Isabelle C. Moore Charles.In his early years he attended Mount Herman Baptist Church , where he was a custodian. He also worked in construction for Johnson and Germany Construction until his health would no longer allow. Affectionately  known as Brother Will to the children in the village, he was always around when people needed him, always ready to lend a helping hand. Everyone loved Bro. Will.

He leaves to cherish fond memories; his lifetime companion, Thelma Nichols; four sons, Aaron Copeland, Sr. (Reading, PA), Jason Nichols ( Pottstown, PA), Tyrell Lusane (Reading, PA),William Nichols( Lillie) (Reading, PA), two daughters; Hope Lusane Mitchell  ( Jenoa) (Boyds Maryland), and Lorraine McCalvin(Troy) Pottstown, PA.; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lillian Doramae Stephens( Delaware),Martha Campbell (Lloyd) Pottstown, PA, Neva Hudson( Delaware); two brothers, Charles Charles (Frances)  Pottstown ,PA. and John Charles( Pottstown, PA) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018, Viewing: 9:00 a.m.- Service: 11:00 a.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church 240 Mintzer Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.

Reverend Dr. William H. Ball III/ Pastor, Pastor Darrell C. Brown/ Eulogist, Pastor Rhonda Charles Williams/ Officiating. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown PA.
