Marie M. Volcy

Mrs. Marie M. Volcy passed away suddenly on Sunday August 6, 2017 in Brooklyn, New York. She was 68 years old. Marie  was born in Leogane, Haiti on June 23, 1949. She was the daughter of the late Monzilus Joseph and Cornelia Henry.On July 5, 1969 she married the love her life Maurice Volcy. She was very spiritual, always pushing the gospel towards her children, her family and friends and even strangers. She was a preacher and loved directing services, especially prayer services. Marie is survived by her husband Maurice Volcy, children Beethoven, Patrick, Natasha, and Demetrius. Son in law Marc Vincent, daughter in law Pascale Volcy and Christina Amazan. Grand children Brandon Vincent, Triston Vincent, Camren Vincent, Kennith Volcy and Megane Volcy. Sister in law, Marlene Vocy and her niece Bianca Jarbath and nephew Jean Jarbath. Brothers in law Eve Micheal Volcy and Carlo Volcy. Her cousins Anne Pierre and Marie Altidor and a host of family and friends.A funeral will be held on Saturday August 12, 2017 at Calvary Memorial Church, 7200 Roosevelt Blvd with the viewing being at 8:00 am and the service to follow at 9:00 am. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery 4500 Levick Street, Phila, PA 19135. Please keep the family in your prayers.
